Dr. Rachna Patel has been practicing dentistry for about two decades and enjoys working with people. She appreciates being able to provide great care while combining the art and science of dentistry. Her background includes training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and periodontics, along with Invisalign certification. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Patel was inspired by her father, who built a career in healthcare and always had a passion for helping others. Seeing that made a career in dentistry feel like a natural choice. She enjoys caring for patients and appreciates the combination of science and artistry that dentistry offers.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Patel attended the University of Texas at Dallas before earning her dental doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2008. She believes dentistry requires lifelong learning as technology and patient needs continue to change. Her continuing education has included restorative and cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and periodontics. She also Invisalign certified.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she's away from the dental office, Dr. Patel enjoys running, cooking, practicing yoga, and traveling the world. She also loves spending time with her husband and their son. A big sports fan, she especially enjoys football and proudly cheers for the Dallas Cowboys.
